"Tie your napkin 'round your neck, cherie, and we'll provide the rest!" It's hard to resist quoting the lyrics from Beauty and the Beast when talking about the "Be Our Guest" program.
If you're new to the area, it can be hard to meet people, let alone feel as though you're becoming part of the community. To make it easier for recent transplants we've started a new outreach program to connect newbies with other individuals or families for a meal or gathering. It doesn't have to be a big Shabbat or holiday meal; we're talking about a casual dinner, or maybe going out somewhere for coffee or a drink.
We want to connect the newcomers to Clevelanders with similar interests and situations. If you're a new family with small children, we'll set you up with another family. If you're a single woman, you might be more interested in meeting other women who can tell you what it's like to live here. Whatever your situation we'll try to help you make those important connections that will help make Cleveland feel like your home.
