Todd Teitel met his future wife Debbie at the Louisville, Kentucky JCC at age 16.  Nineteen years later, after a fifteen year gap, they reconnected.  After a successful marriage proposal on the Hellevator ride at Six Flags in Kentucky, and a wedding in 2000 “so that he’d never forget their anniversary year” Todd and Debbie continue to pair adventure with family values while living in Streetsboro.  Sons Andrew (6) and Benjamin (4) enjoy a solid game of golf (there’s a fabulous Par 3 in Macedonia) where “Daddy Caddy” (an 8 handicap) teaches them golf techniques and how to be a mensch.  Post-golf outings to BW3’s or The Winking Lizard are family favorites along with annual July/August visit to the Aurora Farms Premium Outlets "Family Fun Fest" where they enjoy a day of clowns, food and trucks.  Since there aren’t a lot of Jewish families in Streetsboro, the Teitel’s have worked with the kids’ local school and daycare, which have both been very receptive and supportive, to make sure that Jewish holidays and customs are shared and celebrated.  They enjoy receiving The PJ Library books (free for kids ages 6 months – 7 years) and would love to meet other Jewish families in the area.  Share your story!
