Ashland is a mid-sized regional teaching university, historically related to the Brethren Church. The Cleveland Institute of Music is a leading international conservatory of collaboration between students and teachers. This same stimulating environment extends to the Institute's community education programs,which help people of all ages realize their musical potential. For more than 80 years, CIM has offered a world-class education to students from three to 93 and provided concerts for the community. Located in University Circle, Cleveland's cultural hub, CIM is easily accessible to all music lovers and has a close relationship with the Cleveland Orchestra is maintained with thirty-five members of the Orchestra serving on the CIM faculty.
