Spring weather is on the horizon and Passover is almost here! The first seder is Monday,
April 18. Jews around the world will retell the story of the exodus from Egypt. Here’s the abbreviated story, and below a list of resources and ideas to keep your kids engaged in the festivities:

On Wednesday, April 6, Kid Kare Babysitting will be opening in its new location at The Mandel JCC downstairs across from the Spa Desk with yearly, monthly and drop-in fee options. Parents, this is your chance to enjoy the newly renovated “J” while your kiddies play. Check it out!
PJ Library®...Parks, Picnics & Playdates
More than 2,100 Cleveland kids have received PJ Library books since 2009. Now it’s time to meet up for fun, friendship, outings and adventures. PJ Parents are planning play-dates, picnics, neighborhood noshes and more!

- 4/2, 11:45 a.m. – 9 p.m. All Ohio Dance Festival. Classes from 11:45 a.m. - 5 pm. Festival performance starts at 7 p.m. Cuyahoga Community College, Eastern Campus.
- 4/3, 1-6 p.m. 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament (for competitive and recreational players, ages 8-adult) at The Mandel JCC.
- 4/6, Kid Kare opens at The Mandel JCC with a new space, new ages (2 months – 9 years) and new hours!
- 4/7, 7:30 p.m. Cooking for Passover with Murray Berkowitz @ B’nai Jeshurun Congregation.
- 4/10, 9:30-11 a.m. Religious School Open House @ Temple Emanu El.
- 4/10, 10:30 a.m. Torah March & Celebration. Join the celebration as Bethaynu and B'nai Jeshurun Congregation march the Torah from Bethaynu to B'nai Jeshurun. Open to the community.
- 4/10, 2 p.m. Life is a Song. Support The Mandel JCC Playmakers Youth Theater program while enjoying a fabulous afternoon of entertainment with Sheri Gross. This unique, inclusive program celebrates children of all talents and abilities while emphasizing self-confidence, creativity and teamwork.
- 4/12, 7:30-9:30 pm. Ladies-only night that promises to be different from all other nights! Join us for a charoset chop-off, food tasting, new recipes, creative tips to celebrate Passover and more! Jewish Federation, Mandel Building.

- 4/24, 10 a.m.-Noon. Passover Family Funday at The Force. Hosted by Jewish Family Experience (JFX).

- 4/28-5/8, Tri-C Jazz Fest.
The Jewish Federation of Cleveland is launching a massive effort to assess community needs. Interviewers will be calling 1,000 randomly selected households from now through June.
