Helping Haiti. Shortly after the earthquake hit Haiti on January 12, Israel and Jewish communities around the world moved into action to assist those in need. Across North America, the Jewish Federation system has raised millions in emergency aid, with funds still arriving. The Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland (JCF) is continuing to partner with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), the coordinating agency for the Jewish Coalition for Haiti Relief.
